When we disrespect our World
We see reflected back to us
Our disrespect of Ourselves.
We can begin to undo
What has been done
And there is never a better time to begin
than NOW.
When I finally took the plunge and began blogging I could not have envisaged how much joy all the items I posted and read would have brought me and how much they have expanded my world.
So I would like to express my appreciation to everyone, valued followers and single visitors, who have taken the time to look, read and/or comment on my contributions and to wish you all the Very Best of Moments Always.

The Seagulls’ attitude
An aire of defiance
For me they are
The embodiment of freedom.
I awoke again this morning
With the scent of Autumn in the air.
It invigorated my spirit
End of summer’s almost there.
I can feel a building of excitement
As the season’s change again
The urge to gather nuts and stores
Ready for the onslaught
Of winters wind and rain.
I usually feel a sadness
When Summer’s almost done
But I’ve had my fill of sunshine
So now Autumn… bring it on!
Whatever the will of the weather
Wherever the path rolls on
Unwinding and changing, expanding
Into and beyond the beyond.
Ignoring the barbs of the present
Eyes to the sky and see
Warmer days
And clement ways
I’m drawing them to me.
We don’t realise how optimistic we all really are!
We’re still here aren’t we?!
Melodrama maybe
Alchemical for sure
Gargantuan sense of empowerment
Invincible procure, or just plain
Charming
The Accepted Fallacy
It’s all lies
You know
What they tell us.
It’s all lies
You may know
What we tell ourselves.
Trained by society
To perform.
Trained by the self
To fit in.
Who am I?
The mind is still searching!
Who I am?
My inner me knows….
…Sits back and watches in silence
Til I’m ready to change my own rules.
TIME? What’s That?
Sometimes it takes me hours
To get from A to B
And yet, it always baffles me how
Sometimes its only minutes
To get from A to Z
With destinations miles apart
The sums they don’t add up
I travelled slower
Got there quicker
With minimal effort
But it’s happened more than once now
That I have to contemplate
A fresh perspective on
My view of time and space.
I like to write in solitude
A space that’s just for me
A space of personal heaven
A space where thoughts run free.
Though sometimes contemplation
Requires mere dictation
So mobile phone
And me alone
Express those thoughts in motion.
But choice for me
Is cup of tea
And silence
Solitude
In any room
That’s anywhere
That’s just my habitude.
