Day Twenty: Triumph & Contrast – Skye Cloudburst

It always feels like an amazing triumph when having been in the right place at the right time for an amazing shot, when I get back to the computer to check the image, it’s a good one. Hallelujah!

As for contrast, I simply love weather like this which just oozes contrast. So much like life itself.

  1. I agree that finding you’ve taken a good shot can be a real triumph – or finding the few great shots in a whole batch of ordinary ones. I took a whole lot of photos when I went swimming with seals & when I looked back there was just this one magical shot where the seal had surfaced close by and light was playing on the water. A beautiful shot in a batch of otherwise ordinary photos.

  2. Beautiful shot – specially that you caught that moment of movement downward on the right side of your view! Do you have an “About” section? There is such a neutrality – our images is all I see, but have no idea who the person is who shot them … have a great week!

    1. Thanks, I appreciate your comments.
Land of Images for me, is all about the images. I personally feel that it is all about ‘the moment’ of viewing the image and what it invokes in the viewer. I know I taint it because I took the shot but the rest … I love to leave to you πŸ™‚

  3. What a shot! There is so much in this I don’t know where to start. I love the contours of the clouds, the contrast of light and dark, land sea and sky. It’s bleak and beautiful at the same time – mostly beautiful though. Love it 😊
