Ooh, shiny! – ‘Ooh, Ohh, wow!

Anvil cloud or space ship?

My ‘Ooh Shiny’ is probably an ‘ Ooh, Ooh, wow, look at that!’

Then …

‘Where’s my camera?’

Panic.

‘Got to get this one!’

‘Wow!’

Drink it in.

Indulge in the moment.

Wonder at the amazement of it all.

Take a few more shots.

And, knowing I will never see it again that way,

Hope I have at least captured some of the essence of that moment.

Ooh, Shiny!

(Extra)ordinary Dust

(Extra)ordinary Dust
Odd, peculiar, weird…..
What do you see?
As I sat on the sofa pondering life the universe and everything…..
I noticed the computer’s intakes were covered in a blanket of dust…..
Just as I was about to say something, my son got up from his chair, carrying the throw he’d been using. In doing so he brushed past the computer and this pattern appeared.
I sat there mesmerised for a while…..
Then I got up and got my camera….. !
I took dozens of shots but it was impossible to capture it exactly as I saw it –
A face as plain as day, wearing a V-necked item of clothing looking like a clown.
We tend to see faces in everything but when photographed may not seem quite so precise because our minds fill in the blanks.
But this was still a strange (extra)ordinary experience.

An Inspirational Moment – Weird Sunset

There is so much ‘out there’ that inspires me. I wouldn’t know where to being to whittle it down to anything specific and much of it is very much a ‘moment’ thing.

Though, a dominant inspiring force for me is nature. Observing clouds, seasonal changes and weather patterns is almost as natural to me as breathing.

So I’m sharing one of my wild sunset images with you this week.

It was so weird, it blew me away!

No Photoshop, no filters, just as it was – in that moment.
