The whisp of pink cloud fascinated me.
As the darkening sky engulfed it, a patch of soft white light appeared.
I wondered… what was going on behind the clouds?
Oil rig towed through The Minch between the Isle of Skye and the Isles of Harris and Lewis on a calm and misty day. It always fascinates me how these things stay afloat.
Happy Place Without for me is always in nature but especially by the sea.

Happy Place Within more of the time almost anywhere.
The peaks and troughs of life which once resembled the Andes
now barely undulate, have resulted in a deeper sense of contentment.
Some days have their moments though,
but I know that if I head to the nearest shore
I’ll feel so much better the moment the decision has been made to go
and better still as I get closer and closer to the sea.
There is so much ‘out there’ that inspires me. I wouldn’t know where to being to whittle it down to anything specific and much of it is very much a ‘moment’ thing.
Though, a dominant inspiring force for me is nature. Observing clouds, seasonal changes and weather patterns is almost as natural to me as breathing.
So I’m sharing one of my wild sunset images with you this week.
It was so weird, it blew me away!
No Photoshop, no filters, just as it was – in that moment.
